Is this for you?
You're a woman in midlife who:

-
Is navigating perimenopause or menopause and knows you need to prioritise your health
-
Wants to start strength training but feels intimidated by commercial gyms
-
Is looking for an approach that addresses your whole wellbeing, not just gym workouts
-
Values both challenge AND recovery - you want to get stronger, not burn out
-
Wants personalised 1-on-1 instruction in a private, judgment-free space
-
Is ready to build real strength while honouring what your body needs
What Makes Midlife Different.
Your body's changing. Your energy's different. And maybe what you want from life is shifting too.

Strength training matters more now than ever - it builds bone density, protects your joints, boosts your metabolism, and helps you sleep better. But here's what standard fitness approaches miss: pelvic floor strength and balance - two things that become real concerns in midlife but that most personal trainers ignore.

Pushing hard with no recovery? That leads to injuries and burnout. Working without addressing what your body actually needs in midlife? You'll struggle to see sustainable results.

But here's what I've learned: the women I work with might want to lose weight, but they're also navigating a time of life that makes them question everything. They want to feel capable again. Strong again. Ready for what's next.
My 'Soft But Strong' Approach
After burnout, I found yoga and breathwork helped me feel grounded and calm again. But strength training? That changed everything.

As I got physically stronger, the confidence I built started showing up everywhere else - bigger adventures, bolder choices, a life that felt expansive instead of small.

I also learned this: all challenge with no recovery isn't sustainable. Especially in midlife.

That's why I combine strength training with practices that support your nervous system and recovery. You get strong without getting depleted.
Challenged and cared for at the same time.

In my private garden studio or online, we build an 'evidence bank' - proof that you can do hard things. Each weight you lift, each goal you hit shifts what you believe is possible. Not just in the gym, but in your life.

Confidence naturally follows when you strengthen your body and mind.
Why Strength Training Matters for Women in Midlife.
If you're in perimenopause or menopause, strength training isn't optional - it's essential.

The Physical Benefits:
-
Builds and maintains muscle mass (which naturally declines with age and hormonal changes)
-
Increases bone density and reduces osteoporosis risk
-
Boosts metabolism and helps manage weight
-
Improves sleep quality and mood
-
Reduces joint pain and improves mobility
-
Supports better posture and prevents injury

But Here's What Most Personal Trainers Won't Tell You:
The real transformation happens in your mind.

When you lift a weight you didn't think you could lift, when you complete a workout that felt impossible last month, when you look in the mirror and see someone strong - your entire sense of what you're capable of shifts.

Suddenly, other things that felt too hard, too scary, or "not for someone like me" start to feel possible.

That's the real power of strength training.

Menopause-Specific Programming
I'm finalizing my certification as a Menopause Coaching Specialist (Girls Gone Strong) and use evidence-based programming designed specifically for women navigating hormonal changes. This means we address things standard PTs ignore - like pelvic floor strength and balance - alongside building overall strength.
Psychology-Informed Approach
My psychology background means I get that getting stronger isn't just physical. We work on your mindset too - the beliefs that keep you playing it safe, the voice that says "I can't." Because shifting what you believe about yourself is just as important as the weights you lift.
Holistic Health Support
Strength training is the foundation, but we also address stress, sleep, nutrition, and recovery - because sustainable results require looking at your whole life, not just your workouts.
Personalised Programming, Clear Technique
I teach you how to lift correctly from day one, and your program is built around your body, your goals, and where you're starting from.
Building Your Evidence Bank
Every workout becomes proof. Proof that you can do hard things. Proof that you're stronger than you thought. And that evidence? It changes what you believe is possible - not just in training, but in all areas of your life.
